0 BE MINDFUL NOT TO BE AN UNINTENTIONAL BULLY

Do you know you can be an unintentional bully?

Yeah, seriously, that's a thing. Like...

When you say you are "helping" by telling someone's story for them in their presences to others because you feel you can tell it better. That is an appropriated voice. You have essentially silenced the person with your determination to their story on their behalf without their consent.

When you propose to give unsolicited advice thinking your experience entitles you to do so regardless to how the person you purport to be giving advice to feels. You are being a bully, aggressive, dismissive and judgmental.

If you have been guilty of any of the above, its time for some self evaluation, some introspection if you will.  The purpose is not so you can beat up on yourself or be self-depreciating, rather it for you to evaluate your behavior, examine your boundaries and most importantly to truly understand why do you feel the need to behave in such a manner. the only way to correct it is to check it, to be accountable and responsible for your actions, words and deeds.

Once you discover the why of it all; make sure that you are gentle and compassionate with yourself and that you are conscious and more mindful going forward. Everyone has a right to there autonomy and respect must be given to their voice so they can articulate their own experiences in their own words in their own way.
