5 ST. LAWERANCE MARKET

St. Lawerance Market (since 1803) is located at 92 Front street in Toronto at the intersection of Front & Jarvis. I enjoy shopping here especially for the organically grown vegetables and the freshly baked breads. There is nothing like mouth water hot bread and the banquet of shops with meats and cheeses to add to it to make a magnificent sandwich. If you are like me then you love the challenge of building one yourself with a variety of meats and vegetables or you can opt to buy from the shops/bakery that not only bakes the breads but makes sandwiches there as well. One can source just about any imaginable food item in this market, it is a heavens delight from fresh baked goods, jams, pastas, fresh fruits, vegetables, art, gourmet coffee, organic products, fantastically fresh sea foods to hand crafted jewelry etc. Sometimes I'd take a friend and we will go exploring to see what new additions have become a stable at the market.

  4. Hi:)

    Greetings:)

This is a grand place not only to shop but just to walk around and see various things beautifully displayed and also watch some lovely people.

The man with the dark glasses looked quite handsome.

The atmosphere of the market is excellent and I suppose they sell their products at a discount. I also go to supermarkets and look for discounts and special offers and gifts.

Making sandwich on my own is out of question. I only know how to eat. Very useless in the culinary art.You blame my mother for that:) She didn't teach me to cook but only taught me to sit and eat and eat and eat:):):) Fortunately, I was an athlete and so I burnt up all the calories and didn't put on weight. I looked lean, mean and hungry:)

I enjoyed walking with you in this fantastic supermarket. Many, many thanks for showing all the lovely products on display, including some beautiful people.

But don't forget to send me the sandwich you made. OK! I'm waiting for it:):):)

Before I forget, your two lines of comments in my comment box makes me think that you firmly believe-- BREVITY IS THE BEST FORM OF COMMUNICATION:):):)

No doubt you are living in a wonderful town.

    Have a lovely day:)
    Joseph
