Taking a step back today drawing on the energy of yesterday, enjoy.
A rough day
A busy, grueling fast past day
I breathe deep, hoping to exhale the trials away
Riding the weary tired on a sigh
I look up seeking solace.
I was transported by the vast orange hues,
Lit underneath by vibrant yellow rays
Intertwined and enveloped by the blues
A kaleidoscope sitting comfortably upon deep brown/black silhouette trees shouldering it all effortlessly
Effectively collapsing my decayed day away

ReplyDeleteOn the bad days, the frazzling, overwhelmed, inadequate days if only I have the sense to look to the skies I can feel the negatives seep away as I revel in the wonder.
And the sky you have given us today would brighten my heart any day.
Thank you.

Deletepretty nice photograph.
ReplyDeletei dont why you put here so much melancholy; sunsets usually make a romantically atmosphere, i never get into sad mood by photographing them.
Hi Virginia, the Sunset was the highlight to what was a rough day, seeing it, photographing it release the stress, made everything ok. The Sunlight was a gracious epiphany to an otherwise mundane day. on
The words ties so beautifully with the picture. Such a beautiful shot!!
