21 AN APOLOGY

AM SORRYTo my faithful followers, visitors and guest please forgive me for not commenting on your sites. The truth is I have visited but it seem BLOGSPOT won’t allow me to comment. I am not sure if the issue is only with me or with other users of BLOGSPOT as well. I try to visit everyone on my blog roll at least once a month or more if time allows as well as those first time visitors that share their wisdom with me. Unfortunately for the pass few weeks I have not been successful in leaving comments on everyone’s blogs because sometimes i just get a blank page or it just hangs and lags without producing the comment box. So to you all I apologize. I have visited all of you but i was only able to comment on a few while i was completely barred from others.

  1. I saw your comment on mine. I think blogger is having some problems with commenting since rolling out the threaded comment system. Have a lovely weekend.

  2. No apology is needed or accepted!!.What can you do if the system behave erratically. It is enough if you have read.If you have something special to say or give a big pat, a mail can do the trick.Lol

    1. Thank you, an email is a nice alternative for those with email access option activated. Thank you for the suggestion.

  3. You're not alone. I've had the same problem. It seemed to improve yesterday. Let's hope it's just a temporary situation.

  4. I have heard this from many of our blogging friends. It has something to do with a recent update that Blogspot made.

  5. No such problem at my end. Must be a local problem. Did you check with your service provider? Hope your problem resolves quickly and you are soon back in action.
    Have a great weekend

    1. According to BostonBoy and Beth it would seem that it is BLOGSPOT issue. Glad its impact has not affected you.

    1. I thought it was my computer as well or my service provider, then i tried my computer at work and got the same thing. in an effort to find out more i posted my apology because i don't want my followers to think i just stopped coming by. It is somewhat comforting to know its fairly general though not everyone has the issues.

  7. That's interesting I just read a post from somebody on Wordpress who said she was having trouble commenting on Blogspot sites. Weird. I've been able to comment so far, but I haven't been commenting much lately because I've been so busy.

  9. I too have been expriencing similar problems the last month or so. You didn't mention what browser you are using when this occurs. Usually I use google's chrome or mozilla firefox when accessing sites that are not part of MSN. Lately chrome has been acting exactly as you describe, it had been pretty reliable up to now. What I have discovered is that I now have to delete all browser history, cookies and autofill data everyday or so for it to function. Today I also tried signing into the chrome browser in addition to my google account and it seemed to speed the browser up a bit. I first noticed this problem when I started using Google+. Hope this gives you a little insight, or at least you are not the only one.

    1. hmmmmmm, interesting, well I don't use google plus, in fact don't know much about it. Am just plain and simple Internet Explorer Browser nothing fancier than that and I always clean my cookies ect everytime i use my computer.

    2. While I do prefer explorer, the reason I started using other browsers was because of the freezes and crashes when viewing other sites like blogspot and facebook. I think wordpress requires you to use explorer when posting or editing, and I thought there was a similar requirement to use the google browser with blogspot. I don't know? At least that was the way it use to work for me. What I've learned is that Explorer does require that you accept cookies and store some of them in order to speed up the browser. Something about 'cached' pages loading faster.

Google+, I did sign up for it just to see what it is about. There always seems to be a condsiderable difference between the links and articles that show up in my search results depending on which search engine I use(google vs. bing). Bing tends to only return MSN sources while google appears to offer more variety, but omits MSN. Google+ is more of a real time sharing platform like Twitter, but I can't say it is any more informative. It depends on who you follow.

A couple of years ago I would be able to open 3 different browsers at the same time(Explorer, Chrome and Firefox) and use them all simultaneously to browse different locations. I don't attempt that anymore. Then there are all the toolbars and plug-ins associated with each one. I use the other browsers for sites that Explorer seem to respond slowly to, but usually have to switch back to it for MSN sites. In fact, when IE9 was introduced, a lot of the MSN sites weren't compatible with it.
