I love sunsets. They are simply magnificent. Everyday I look forward to looking up and outward to the west into the late afternoon/evening sky and seeing the kaleidoscope of colours displayed spectacularly. The multiplicity of blended colours, hues in the fading light is breathtaking. I never tire of looking and experiencing the awing beauty that is sunsets. It is this always transforming beauty that compels me to always carry my camera in my purse everyday. Perhaps I sound like a mad hatter going on about sunsets but so what, I know what I love and I love sunsets.

  2. They are magnificent and awesome too in its myriad pattern of colours and shape. But sunsets leave a tinge of sadness unlike sunrises that brings a spring to the walk.

  3. I loved the sunsets too but what is difference between in the sunrise? it is very similarly view?

  4. That is a good question Michiko. I do not recall any recent memory to recall of having experience the Sunrise though I am sure it is just as spectacular as Sunsets. I guess the difference would be the Sunrise opens the day and the Sunset closes it.

  6. Hello,

Gorgeous photos, breathtaking with lovely colors. It is amazing to see how darkness sets in as the sun goes down.

Most often we don't get up in the morning to see the sun rise and hence we miss all the glory of sun rises. We are always awake to see the sunsets but many of us fail to see them.

Sun rise in the tip of South India is a fantastic sight. This is the place where the Bay of Bengal,Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean meet.Tourist get up early in the morning and wait patiently for the sun rise to happen with their cameras ready. Once I was there to see the sun rise and it was a truly magnificent sight. At that time I did not have a camera.

    Best wishes,
    Joseph

  11. Awesome photos, they are absolutely beautiful! I love sunrises and sunsets too, though I haven't seen either one in quite a while. City living doesn't lend itself to beautiful sunrises or sunsets (trees, houses, buildings, etc...)lol

I just wanted to say hello and let you know I'm thinking of you. I hope you are doing well and everything is going okay. Hope you have a splendid Week!

  14. I really like a good sunset for the practical reason that most people have more time to enjoy them. At sunrise most of us are hustling to get ready for the day, with our head full of what has to be done.

At sunset we've DONE it. Maybe we love a beautiful sunset partly because we can feel we deserve it after a day's work.
