Letting go of things, people, places and relationships can be challenging yet at times it is quite necessary for forward momentum to continue, growth to occur & opportunities to be experienced.
Nothing lasts forever, enjoy the now.

No easy at times, but so very true.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, but as my granny use to say, "know one promised easy."

ReplyDeleteThe wisdom is easy, It is in the living it out where lies the challenge.
DeleteGood morning Rhapsody:
ReplyDeleteReflecting on your post and on my own experiences I find it's a relentless struggle and a demanding task to rise to the challenge to let go all the things that hold us back from our personal growth.
In regard to those barriers I would like to share with you what I perceive is a very important obstacle to letting go and moving forward. I think consumer society constantly encourages us to ignore our spiritual and emotional needs and to focus our attention primarily on the pursuit and the acquisition of material things with the false premise that we will be happy and fulfilled. But nevertheless, it's my belief that in general possessions are a burden and a distraction from our real purpose in life.
A simpler life could provide the opportunity to invest more time and energy in enriching our existence with what really matters and with the purpose of not missing out on what is essential - to be able to live a contented life where we are not concerned anymore with having more or less because we have liberated our spiritual energy in order to bloom and inform every aspect of our lives.
Enjoy a fantastic weekend.
With friendship,
E.
Wow, that is quite a robust reflection and indeed enlightening. I've found that there are times when one has to depart from societal norms and create one's own way to achieving enlightened contentment.
