IT’S HOT LIKE A MUDDAH!

It is so damn hot one can only assume either of two positions, permanently station onself under a cool shower or copying the position of a lizard in front of a fan because anything is preferable to movement which only serves to generate more heat. Have mercy! You can stick me with a fork and call me done! Blow on me ya’ll, somebody cool meh! Just make sure you not suffering from halitosis.

The bright spot in this maddening heat, a back in the day song by Nelly, “It’s getting hot in here.”

  1. I always get peeved at the weather forecasters when they say "We’re in for some bad weather – 95 degrees in the shade!" Why? Because I like it that hot, and humid as well, and I find myself in total bliss. I have never witnessed a day that was too hot for me. I feel sorry for those of you who suffer from the heat. I hope your temps fall, but, I believe it’s just a preview of coming summer attractions. Try to stay cool. Peace.

    1. Well the weather is only doing a prediction meaning he/she giving you a possibility of this or that should the temps/signs align. No guarantee just like anything in life. As for the heat am good with it, what I cannot tolerate is the humidity, that sucking asphalt kinda heat where you can smell and taste the dirt and roads.

  3. Good grief girl, come on up here! …wait. No. It’s noon-ish, the sun is finally shining up here —- and I’m still wearing a sweatshirt. (never thought of myself as a Fair-weather Girl. But I’m just willing to accept now – I’m Solar-Powered. Big time! ha) Anyway, here wouldn’t be fun for you either! May the humidity drop steadily at your place,~ e

    1. that vid is something isn't it. They took out the other part of it, when the place catches a fire and the dj trying to warn the partiers that the roof is on fire and all they did was to continue partying shouting the mantra, "the roof, the roof the roof is on fire, we don't want no water like the mudda-fucka burn, burn mudda-fucka burn!" I always think 'i bet you won't be thinking that when the reality of that real heat singe your backside. hehe'

Down here in the parts of the world where we live…in just a few more weeks will be more intolerable that being in the Sahara desert itself….Try and stay cool and have a wonderful and blessed weekend my friend!

  12. Good Morning...And to think our weather has been this hot down here in the Ozarks for overthree months. I am actually tired of summer this year.

We are lacking rainfall,8 inches behind average, and every morning 5:30 to 10:30 am I try to keep apart of God's Creation green, healthy, and able to grow. Call me crazy but Ithink I can see all my flowers, grass, and trees smile at me with gratitude.

Our afternoons have been stifling oven like hot. Stay cool and the heat shall passsoon up der in Canada eh...Be well, Gbird

  15. Love the post title and YES it's brutally hot. If I didn't have to go outside I wouldn't. Heat just smacks you in the face and causes instant sweat and discomfort.

It's been awhile since I heard Nelly's song, but it fits perfectly.

  24. Fortunately the hot weather is over in Kochi and monsoon has started. The rains are less compared to previous years probably due to climate change, I am not sure. But the weather is pleasant all day through and very comfortable to sleep soundly at night. Don't worry your summer will pass soon
